Six-inch SATA III data cable with a 90-degree to 180-degree angled latch for secure connections in tight spaces
The EN-Labs SATA cable measures six inches and carries a 90-degree plug on one end and a straight 180-degree plug on the other. Both connectors are 7-pin SATA receptacles with a locking latch for a firm seat. It is built with 26AWG tinned copper conductors and shielded for signal integrity.
Use this cable when an existing data lead is too long, unsecured, or lacks a locking tab. The right-angle connector fits tight drive bays or crowded motherboard headers where a straight plug would foul adjacent components. The jump is worth it whenever cable routing or vibration makes a standard lead unreliable.
The cable supports the full 6.0 Gbps throughput of SATA III and remains backward compatible with SATA I and II ports. Actual transfer speed is limited by the drive and controller attached. It is not suited for external eSATA runs or for bridging longer distances inside full-tower chassis.

The 90-degree plug extends sideways from the drive port, so allow roughly the connector height plus cable bend radius behind the device.
Attach the straight 180-degree end with its latch to the motherboard first, then connect the 90-degree end to the drive.
Replace it if the latch no longer clicks, the conductors show kinks, or you experience intermittent 6.0 Gbps link errors.
