An 18-inch SATA III data cable with a 90-to-180-degree angled connector, latch lock, shielded 26 AWG copper conductors and 6.0 Gbps support
The EN-Labs cable carries SATA III signals at up to 6.0 Gbps and remains compatible with SATA I and II ports. It uses 26 AWG tinned copper conductors with shielding to protect data integrity. One end is a 90 degree latch connector, the other a straight 180 degree latch connector, both 7 pin L type key receptacles.
Builders working in compact cases or stacked drive cages benefit from the mixed angle layout that routes cleanly around obstacles. The latch on each end prevents accidental disconnection during transport or vibration. Buyers who need a straight through cable or a different length should look elsewhere.
Transfer speed is capped by the slowest connected device rather than the cable itself. Shielded copper construction maintains signal quality over the 18 inch run during long copy sessions. UL listed and RoHS compliant materials meet standard safety and environmental requirements.

One end has a straight 180-degree 7-pin SATA connector with a latch that locks into any standard internal SATA port on a motherboard or host controller.
The cable is backwards compatible with SATA I and II ports, so a legacy drive will connect and operate at its own rated speed.
Check the negotiated link speed in the system BIOS or with a tool such as CrystalDiskInfo; it should show SATA 6 Gbps when both drive and port support SATA III.
