What it is and who it’s for

The ESTONE OZF4 is a 1×4 HDMI splitter that takes a single source and mirrors it to four identical displays. It suits installers who need the same 4K image on multiple screens in retail, office or home-theatre setups. A 5 V DC power supply is included for stable operation.

What it replaces and when to upgrade

It replaces daisy-chaining or manual cable swapping when one source must feed four TVs, monitors or projectors at once. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous duplicate output without signal degradation across all four ports.

Practical limits of the HDMI 1.4b interface

The splitter tops out at 3840×2160 at 30 Hz with 8/10/12-bit deep colour and 3.4 Gbps bandwidth. It supports HDCP 1.4b and AWG26 cable runs up to 100 ft, but cannot pass higher refresh rates or later HDMI feature sets.

Questions about this item

How much space does the 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inch metal case need on a shelf or rack?

The splitter measures 5.59 inches wide, 3.15 inches deep and 1.26 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus a little clearance for the four HDMI cables and the 5 V DC power jack.

What is the correct order to connect the 5 V power supply, the source and the four displays so the splitter locks onto the EDID?

Plug the 5 V DC adapter into the splitter first, then connect the HDMI source to the single input, and finally attach up to four displays to the outputs; powering the unit before the source ensures stable 3.4 Gbps transmission.

When should the 5 V DC power adapter be replaced to keep 4K@30 Hz signal quality over long cables?

Replace the adapter if the output voltage drifts below 5 V or the unit shows intermittent signal loss, because the splitter relies on external power to maintain the 340 MHz TMDS clock over cable runs up to 100 ft.
