Compact Business Laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G7 is a 14-inch touchscreen laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-10210U quad-core processor running at 1.60 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe M.2 SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The chassis includes two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.

Mobile Professionals Needing Touch Input

This unit suits users who want a lightweight device with pen or finger input for annotating documents during meetings or field work. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles office applications and video playback but cannot drive 3D workloads or multiple external 4K displays. Buyers who require discrete GPU performance, user-upgradable RAM or a larger screen should consider other options.

256 GB NVMe Boot Drive

The single specification that decides fit is the 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. It determines how many applications and local files you can keep on board before turning to cloud storage or an external drive. If your workflow demands more onboard capacity, this configuration will not be sufficient.
