Bidirectional DisplayPort 1.4 splitter or switcher supporting 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth
The Jansicotek DP 1.4 unit works as a one-input two-output splitter or a two-input one-output switcher. It carries audio and video together in either direction. A single button on the device toggles between the two connected sources when used as a switcher.
The 32.4 Gbps bandwidth delivers 8K at 30 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. Higher refresh rates at 8K or 4K exceed the available bandwidth, so those modes will not be supported.
One DisplayPort female input and two DisplayPort female outputs connect directly to existing cables. An included USB-C power cable supplies the unit, freeing the source devices from providing extra current. The switcher does not work with Valve Index or Xbox consoles.

The unit follows the DisplayPort 1.4 specification and is backward compatible, so it will pass 4K@60Hz or 1080P@240Hz from a DP 1.2 source, but 8K@30Hz and 4K@120Hz require a DP 1.4 graphics output.
The front LED lights solid when a live DP signal is detected; open your GPU control panel and check that the display reports 4K at 120 Hz with audio enabled.
The box contains the bidirectional switch, a USB-C power cable and a user manual; you must supply three DisplayPort cables — one from each source and one to the display.
