Gaming laptop for creators and players

The Lenovo LOQ 15 combines an Intel Core i7-13650HX processor with a GeForce RTX 5050 GPU to serve gamers and content creators who need strong single-thread speed and modern graphics features in a portable chassis.

Connectivity that frees desk space

One USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port delivers Power Delivery, DisplayPort and 10 Gbps data so a single cable can charge the laptop, drive an external monitor and attach high-speed storage, while three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and HDMI 2.1 handle peripherals and a second display without a dock.

Sustained output with upgraded memory and storage

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 and a 1 TB PCIe SSD are installed by the shop before shipping, giving the cooling system a consistent workload profile during long rendering or gaming sessions rather than a short burst on stock components.

Questions about this item

What limits sustained performance on this laptop first?

The 14-core Intel Core i7-13650HX processor can boost up to 4.9 GHz, but thermal headroom inside the 0.94-inch chassis will throttle clocks before power delivery does.

How loud or hot does it get when running all day?

The Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 module and RTX 5050 8 GB GDDR7 GPU share the cooling system; expect fan noise to rise once both CPU and GPU hold high loads for extended sessions.

What must I already own to use the USB-C port for video and charging?

A USB-C cable or dock that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery over the 10 Gbps Gen 2 link is required for external display and charge-through.
