Built for competitive gaming and creative work

This Lenovo Legion 5i 15 pairs an Intel Core i7-14700HX with 20 cores and 28 threads with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 8 GB GPU. A 15.1 inch WQXGA OLED panel runs at 165 Hz and 2560x1600 resolution. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD complete the core specification. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The high-refresh OLED screen and 20-core processor suit gamers who want smooth motion and creators who need accurate colour. Buyers who want more storage or a second drive bay should look elsewhere. The chassis has no SD card reader and no fingerprint reader. Wireless relies on Wi-Fi 7 2x2.

The specification that decides fit

The 15.1 inch 165 Hz OLED display at 2560x1600 is the single specification that decides fit. If your workflow or games benefit from that pixel density and refresh rate, the rest of the hardware backs it up. If you need a different panel technology or a higher resolution, this is not the right machine.
