14-inch FHD Touchscreen Ultrabook

This Lenovo ThinkPad T480 or T490 ultrabook ships new with Windows 11 Pro. It uses an Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core processor at 1.6GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD. The 14.0-inch IPS panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution with touch input. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles display output. It suits office workers, students or mobile professionals who need a lightweight 14-inch device with touchscreen and SSD speed.

Ready to use with OEM adapter

The laptop arrives with a 45W or 65W OEM AC adapter and Windows 11 Pro already installed, so no operating system setup is required. Connectivity includes 3 x USB 3.1 ports, 1 x USB-C port, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. Optional features such as an SD or MicroSD card reader and a fingerprint reader may be absent on the unit you receive. Because the exact model — T480 or T490 — depends on stock, port layout and chassis dimensions can vary slightly.

256GB SSD with room to grow

The 256GB solid-state drive provides fast boot and application load times for typical productivity workloads. Memory is DDR4 and the platform supports up to 32GB, so a future upgrade can add headroom for heavier multitasking. Storage can also be expanded to 512GB or 1TB with a compatible SATA or NVME M.2 drive. Buyers who need more than 256GB out of the box or who require a guaranteed card reader or fingerprint sensor should verify the exact configuration before purchase.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i5-8250U and Intel UHD Graphics 620 are running correctly after first boot?

An OEM AC adapter is included in the box; no additional charger is required unless you want a spare for travel.

Should I choose the T480 at 3.6 lbs with three USB 3.1 ports or the lighter T490 at 3.2 lbs for daily carry?
