Product Purpose

The LUOM HW-HD1080P splits a single HDMI source into eight identical outputs for simultaneous display. It supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and 1440p at a 255 MHz bandwidth. The unit handles 3D video and multiple audio formats including LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio. An external power adapter is included for signal amplification.

Suitability

This splitter suits installers who need one source mirrored across eight screens in classrooms, control rooms, or retail signage. It works with standard HDMI sources such as Blu-ray players, consoles, and PCs. Buyers who need to switch between multiple sources or extend a desktop across independent displays should look at a matrix switch or a graphics card with multiple outputs instead.

Deciding Specification

The maximum supported video resolution is 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz with 8-bit colour depth. The device complies with the HDMI 1.3 specification and provides 2.25 Gbps per channel. If your source or displays require 4K resolution, HDR metadata, or HDMI 2.0 bandwidth, this splitter will not pass those signals.
