This LUOM HW-HD1080P splitter takes a single HDMI source and sends the same signal to eight displays at once. It supports Full HD 1080p and 3D video, plus lower resolutions down to 480i. The unit is built for home theatre, control rooms, classrooms and conference spaces where identical output is required on every screen.

Limits of the HDMI 1.3b interface

The splitter works to the HDMI 1.3b specification with a maximum bandwidth of 2.25 Gbps and 255 MHz per channel. That ceiling keeps the highest supported resolution at 1920 × 1080 or 1440p and restricts refresh rates at those resolutions. Deep colour and multi-channel audio up to 7.1 pass through, but the bandwidth does not reach 4K or higher frame-rate 1440p modes.

Check your source and cables before ordering

Verify that your source device can output 1080p or 1440p over HDMI 1.3b and that it does not require a higher bandwidth standard. Each of the eight output runs needs a cable rated for the distance involved; the splitter amplifies the signal, but very long cables may still degrade the picture. The box includes a short 5 in. lead for the input side only.
