1×8 HDMI splitter for multi-display setups

The LUOM HW-HD1080P takes a single HDMI source and duplicates it across eight outputs at up to 1920 x 1080 resolution. It handles 3D video, deep colour and audio formats such as LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. The unit is aimed at installers who need identical pictures on multiple screens in classrooms, control rooms or home theatres.

Plug-and-play installation with powered operation

Connect the source to the single HDMI input and up to eight displays to the outputs, then attach the included power adapter. The splitter buffers and amplifies the signal to allow longer cable runs without degradation. A common issue is forgetting the power supply, which leaves all outputs dark; another is using cables that exceed the splitter’s equalisation capability at 1080P.

Verify source resolution

The splitter passes through a maximum of 1080P at HDMI 1.4 with HDCP, so 4K or HDR sources will be downscaled or blocked. Confirm that your source device can output 1080P and that all displays accept that resolution. Audio formats beyond the listed LPCM, Dolby and DTS codecs are not supported.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the HW-HD1080P is passing a 1080P signal to all eight displays after I connect everything?

Check each connected display for an identical 1920 x 1080 image at 1080P or 1080i; the splitter amplifies and buffers the signal so all eight outputs stay synchronized without quality loss.

What cables or accessories come with the HW-HD1080P and what must I provide myself?

The unit includes a power adapter; you supply one HDMI cable for the source and up to eight HDMI cables for the displays.

The specs mention 1.3b and 1.4 — which version should I match to my source and displays?

The splitter’s input and outputs support HDMI up to 1.3b with 1440p capability, while the product is labelled 1.4 HDCP; use sources and cables rated for 1.3b or higher to ensure full 1080P and 3D performance.
