Magnetic USB-C Adapter (2 Pack)

This two-pack of magnetic USB-C adapters adds a quick-release elbow to any USB4 cable, supporting 40 Gbps data, 8K video at 60 Hz and up to 240 W Power Delivery. The male-to-male design protects laptop ports from wear and prevents accidental drops when a cable is pulled.

Suits single-port laptops; not for legacy USB-A gear

Users with a single USB-C port on a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or similar laptop gain a secure, one-handed connection for docks, monitors and high-wattage chargers. Buyers who need USB-A, older USB 3.1 or non-magnetic straight connectors should look at a different adapter type.

24-pin USB4 40 Gbps 8K 60 Hz 240 W PD

The adapter carries the full 24-pin USB4 signal at 40 Gbps, drives 8K at 60 Hz and negotiates up to 240 W (48 V / 5 A) Power Delivery, making it the single spec that decides whether the part matches a Thunderbolt 4 or high-power USB-C setup.

Questions about this item

Does the 40Gbps USB4 link throttle after long file transfers?

The adapter is rated for 40Gbps USB4 throughput and has no active cooling, so sustained transfers may slow if the host or cable limits power or temperature.

How warm does the magnetic joint get while delivering 240W all day?

At up to 48V and 5A the connector can become noticeably warm; the LED indicator stays lit while power flows, giving a visual cue that the link is active.

What must my charger and cable already support for 240W charging to work?

Both the USB-C charger and the cable must be rated for 240W Power Delivery (48V/5A); otherwise the adapter will negotiate a lower wattage.
