LUOM OZF6-1 HDMI Splitter 1x2

The LUOM OZF6-1 is a 1x2 HDMI 2.0b splitter that sends one source signal to two displays at the same time. It supports 4K at 60Hz with HDR10 and HDCP 2.2. A 3.5mm stereo jack extracts analogue audio for separate speakers or headphones. The unit is powered by a USB-C cable and includes a charger.

Mirror-only operation and 18Gbps bandwidth

This splitter works in mirror mode only and cannot extend a desktop across two screens. The HDMI 2.0b interface limits total bandwidth to 18Gbps, so 4K 60Hz signals use 4:2:0 chroma subsampling or 8-bit colour. An auto down-scaler lets one display run at 4K 60Hz while the other shows 1080p 60Hz without forcing both to the lower resolution.

Check source output and cable quality

Verify that your source device can output 4K 60Hz over HDMI 2.0b and that it supports HDCP 2.2 for protected content. Use certified high-speed HDMI cables for all connections to maintain 18Gbps throughput. The package supplies a USB-C power cable and charger but no HDMI cables.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1x2 splitter or a 1x4 model for two displays?

This unit is a 1x2 splitter with one HDMI input and two HDMI outputs, so it matches a two-display setup exactly.

What does the 4K@60Hz rating mean when I connect a 4K TV and a 1080p monitor?

The built-in auto down-scaler lets the 4K TV run at 3840x2160@60Hz while the 1080p monitor stays at 1080p@60Hz without forcing both to the lower resolution.

How does the HDMI 2.0b interface limit the bandwidth and colour depth I can use?

The HDMI 2.0b port caps video bandwidth at 18Gbps and supports up to 36-bit deep colour at 4K@60Hz.
