PRC X-FORCE Special Edition Gaming Desktop

This PRC gaming desktop pairs an Intel Core i7-8700 six-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 graphics card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 1TB 2.5-inch solid state drive provide the platform. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed for immediate use.

Sustained load behaviour

A 120mm CPU air cooler manages the 65-watt processor during extended sessions while the 650W 80+ Gold power supply delivers stable current. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11AC Wi-Fi maintain network throughput. Bluetooth 5.0 handles peripherals without additional dongles.

Upgrade perspective

The system replaces an older office tower or entry-level pre-built that relies on integrated graphics and a mechanical hard drive. The jump is worth it when 1080p gaming at medium to high settings is the target and Windows 10 Home meets the software baseline.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 120mm CPU air cooler run when the i7-8700 hits its 4.60GHz boost all day?

The 120mm air cooler handles the 6-core i7-8700 at its 4.60GHz maximum turbo within the 650W 80+ Gold supply's thermal envelope, keeping noise at typical desktop levels during extended sessions.

Which display cable and monitor input do I need to use the RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 graphics out of the box?

The RTX 3050 card provides standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, so any monitor with a matching input and cable will work immediately — no adapter or proprietary connector is required.

Will my existing DDR4-288-pin memory sticks add capacity alongside the installed 16GB kit?

Yes, the system board uses standard DDR4 288-pin DIMM slots, so additional DDR4 modules can be installed to expand beyond the factory 16GB as long as they match the platform's supported speeds.
