Six-Core i7-8700 Gaming Desktop

This PRC X-FORCE Special Edition desktop targets gamers who want a ready-to-play system built around an Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores and twelve threads. The 16GB DDR4 memory and 1TB SSD provide a responsive platform for modern titles at high settings. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed and the hardware is Windows 11 ready. Buyers who need more than sixteen gigabytes of RAM or multiple graphics cards should look elsewhere.

RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6 Graphics Impact

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 with 10GB GDDR6 video memory drives demanding games at high resolutions and detail levels. A 900W 80+ Bronze power supply delivers stable current to the GPU and the rest of the system. Integrated audio and a Gigabit Ethernet port handle sound and wired networking without extra cards. This configuration leaves no room for a second high-end graphics card.

LGA 1151 Board with CPU Fan Cooling

The system board uses an LGA 1151 socket from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte or Intel and relies on a standard CPU fan for processor cooling. 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters add wireless connectivity. A USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box. No optical drive is fitted, so physical media requires an external unit.

Questions about this item

Will the CPU fan need replacement before the other components?

The i7-8700 is cooled by a single CPU fan on an LGA 1151 board. That fan is the only active cooler listed, so it will be the first part to wear out and need replacement.

What limit appears first when the RTX 3080 runs at full load for hours?

The 900W 80+ Bronze supply caps total draw. Under sustained GPU load the power ceiling is reached before thermal throttling on the 10GB GDDR6 card.

How loud and hot does the system get when it runs all day?

One CPU fan and the RTX 3080 cooler move all heat. Expect noticeable fan noise and case warmth during extended sessions; no liquid loop or extra chassis fans are specified.
