PRC X-FORCE Special Edition Gaming Desktop

This PRC X-FORCE Special Edition gaming desktop combines an Intel Core i7-8700 3.2GHz 6-Core processor with an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB GDDR6 graphics card. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB 2.5" solid state drive running Windows 10 Home. The system is built for 1080p and 1440p gaming on a single monitor.

850W 80+ Gold power supply limits

The 850W 80+ Gold power supply delivers stable power for the installed CPU and graphics card under full load. It leaves no headroom for adding a second high-end graphics card or for extreme overclocking beyond the component stock limits. Builders planning multi-GPU configurations or heavy peripheral loads should verify total draw before upgrading.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB GDDR6 decides fit

The AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB GDDR6 graphics card determines whether this system meets your performance target. Its 16GB frame buffer supports high texture settings at 1440p and entry-level 4K in modern titles. Buyers who need more video memory for professional 3D rendering or 4K ultra texture packs should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16 GB DDR4 configuration or look for a different capacity?

The system ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory installed in 288-pin DIMM slots, which matches the Intel Core i7-8700 dual-channel design and is sufficient for current gaming workloads.

What does the i7-8700 3.2 GHz base clock mean once the PC is running games?

The 6-core, 12-thread processor can boost to 4.60 GHz under load, so sustained gaming performance will often run well above the 3.2 GHz base frequency.

How fast is the Gigabit Ethernet port in practice?

The 10/100/1000 network interface caps wired throughput at 1000 Mbps, so real-world file transfers and online gaming will be limited to that ceiling.
