Ready-to-play desktop for 1080p and 1440p gaming

This PRC X-FORCE Special Edition system pairs an Intel Core i7-8700 six-core processor with an AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics card carrying 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 system RAM and a 1 TB solid-state drive provide quick loading for modern titles. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on the 2.5-inch SSD and the machine ships with a USB keyboard and mouse.

Suits gamers who want high frame rates at 1440p

The eight-hundred-and-fifty-watt 80+ Gold power supply and 120 mm CPU air cooler support the included graphics card under sustained load. Buyers who need more than 16 GB of system memory for heavy multitasking or content creation should look at a platform that offers additional DIMM slots. The board uses an LGA 1151 socket, so processor upgrades are limited to eighth- and ninth-generation Intel Core parts.

Radeon RX 6800 with 16 GB GDDR6 decides 1440p

That video-memory capacity lets the card hold high-resolution textures in current games at 1440p without swapping to system RAM. If your target resolution is 4K or you plan to run professional ray-tracing workloads, a GPU with a larger frame buffer would be required. The 1 TB SSD and 850 W supply are adequate companions for this graphics tier.

Questions about this item

Will the 120m CPU Air Cooler on the i7-8700 fit if I reuse my LGA 1151 motherboard?

Yes, the 120m CPU Air Cooler is mounted on an ASUS/MSI/Gigabyte/Intel LGA 1151 system board, so it matches that socket directly.

How can I verify the Radeon RX 6800 16GB GDDR6 is running at full performance after setup?

Open Device Manager or AMD Adrenalin software and confirm the graphics card shows 16GB GDDR6 memory and the driver version matches the latest AMD release.

Does the box include a monitor or only the tower with the 850W 80+ GOLD power supply?

The box contains the tower, a USB keyboard, a USB mouse and Windows 10 Home pre-installed; a monitor is not included and must be purchased separately.
