Built for 1080p and 1440p Gaming

This desktop pairs an Intel Core i7-8700 six-core processor with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and an AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT graphics card carrying 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on a 1 TB solid-state drive. The system targets players who want high frame rates in current titles at 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

Included Peripherals and Connectivity

A USB keyboard and USB mouse are supplied in the box so the machine is ready to use immediately. Network access comes from Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11AC Wi-Fi alongside Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless accessories. The 850 W 80+ Gold power supply delivers headroom for the graphics card and future upgrades.

LGA 1151 Platform Limits Future CPU Upgrades

The motherboard uses the LGA 1151 socket which supports 8th and 9th generation Intel Core processors only. Buyers who want a newer CPU architecture will need a different motherboard and memory. The 120 mm air cooler handles the stock i7-8700 thermal output but leaves little margin for higher-wattage chips.

Questions about this item

Will the 120mm CPU air cooler need cleaning or replacement after extended use?

The 120mm air cooler will accumulate dust over time; periodic cleaning with compressed air maintains airflow and prevents thermal throttling on the i7-8700.

What limit appears first when the Radeon RX 6950 XT 16GB GDDR6 runs at full load for hours?

The graphics card’s power draw and heat output become the primary constraints under sustained gaming loads, managed by the 850W 80+ Gold supply.

How loud and hot does the system get when the i7-8700 and RX 6950 XT run all day?

Expect noticeable fan noise from both the 120mm CPU cooler and the graphics card, with chassis temperatures rising steadily during continuous operation.
