Two-Port USB 3.1 Add-In Card

This PCIe expansion card adds one USB 3.1 Type-C port and one USB 3.0 Type-A port to a desktop computer. It uses the VL805 controller chip to deliver up to 5 Gbps transmission speed. The card fits any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot on mainstream motherboards. A standard full-height bracket is included for typical tower cases.

Suits owners of older desktops lacking native

Users who need to connect external SSDs, flash drives or phones will benefit from the modern port mix. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ensures legacy peripherals still work. Buyers requiring more than two extra ports or internal header connections should look elsewhere.

VL805 controller with 5 Gbps limit

The onboard VL805 master chip governs all data transfers and caps throughput at 5 Gbps per port. This specification determines whether the card can saturate a specific external SSD or dock. Verify that your target device does not demand a higher signalling rate before purchasing.
