Combines data and power in one cable with 4-pin female and SATA 3.0 male inputs to a 22-pin SATA output for SSD and HDD drives
This SMUGDESK cable combines a small 4-pin female and a SATA 3.0 male input into a single SATA 22-pin (7+15-pin) output. It connects compatible SATA SSDs, HDDs and optical drives inside desktop cases. The integrated design saves internal space and simplifies wiring for hardware modifications or drive expansion projects. Buyers whose devices lack a small 4-pin power source cannot use this cable.
Passive cabling adds no active cooling, fan noise or measurable power draw to the system. The reinforced connector shells maintain a secure fit to prevent signal loss from vibration during normal operation. Flexible cable routing keeps airflow paths clear without restricting case ventilation. No thermal or acoustic specifications apply to this passive component.
The package contains only the single AB01 combo cable; no additional brackets, adapters or software utilities are supplied. Installation is limited to physical connection between the host interface and the target drive. No driver installation or firmware updates are required for operation. Users needing alternative input connectors or longer lengths must source separate cables.

No published specifications for this item yet.
Plug the small 4‑pin female connector into a Molex lead from the power supply and insert the SATA 3.0 male end into a motherboard SATA port; the single 22‑pin (7+15) output then attaches directly to the drive.
The cable has no moving parts and the reinforced shells are rated for the life of the build; only replace it if physical damage or connector wear appears.
The link is limited to the SATA 3.0 specification, so the interface itself caps throughput before the cable becomes a bottleneck.
