Indoor Wi-Fi 6/6E access point

The Sophos AP6 420E is a tri-band indoor wireless access point supporting 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios. It targets general-purpose, medium-density environments such as retail spaces, smaller education sites and small to medium offices. Management is available through a local web interface or Sophos Central when a support subscription is active.

Bundled 1-year support subscription

The included one-year AP6 Series Support subscription enables Sophos Central cloud management, firmware updates, advanced replacement service and 24/7 multi-channel support. Without an active subscription per access point, cloud management and those support benefits are not available.

PoE+ powered 2.5G uplink constraint

The unit draws up to 24.25 W and requires an 802.3at PoE+ injector or switch, which must be sourced separately. Its single 2.5G Ethernet port with PoE+ carries both data and power, so uplink speed and power budget are limited to that one interface.
