Gaming Desktop with Ryzen 7 3700X

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB of GDDR6 video memory. A 120mm AIO liquid cooler handles CPU thermals while a 750W power supply drives the system.

Suited for high-refresh 1440p gaming

This configuration suits players who want strong rasterisation performance at 1440p or entry-level 4K without building a custom loop. Buyers who need newer platform features such as PCIe 4.0 storage or USB 4 connectivity should look at a different system.

Storage combines 4TB PCIe SSD

The primary storage is a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast boot and game loading, supplemented by a 6TB 3.5-inch hard drive for bulk media. This two-drive layout decides whether the capacity balance matches your workload.

Questions about this item

Do I need to supply my own monitor since the Pilum has no built-in display?

Yes, connect a monitor to the HDMI or DisplayPort on the Radeon RX 6900 XT to get a picture.

Will my older USB 2.0 peripherals work with the 4 USB 2.0 ports on this desktop?

The four USB 2.0 Type-A ports accept legacy keyboards, mice and drives at USB 2.0 speeds.

How can I confirm the 120 mm AIO liquid cooler is running after I power on?

Listen for the pump hum and watch the RGB lighting on the cooler; both indicate the loop is active.
