Velztorm Pilum Ryzen 7 3700X Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum desktop is a pre-built gaming system configured with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and includes a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting. The system targets players who want a ready-to-use machine for high-resolution gaming and multitasking.

Suits 128GB DDR4 multitaskers not 16GB

The 128GB DDR4 capacity serves users who run heavy creative workloads, virtual machines or large memory caches alongside games. Buyers who only need 16GB or 32GB for standard gaming will find this amount excessive and should look at lower-capacity configurations. The single 750W power supply also limits builds that require dual graphics cards or extreme overclocking headroom.

2TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 3TB HDD storage combo

The primary drive is a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast boot and application load times. A secondary 3TB 3.5-inch hard drive adds bulk capacity for game libraries and media files. This specific two-drive layout decides whether the system matches a buyer's speed and space requirements without needing extra drive bays or M.2 slots.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need inside the case?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler requires space for a 120mm radiator and fan assembly mounted to the chassis.

How is the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor installed on the motherboard, and what step is often missed?

The 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X drops into the AM4 socket; the step often missed is peeling the protective film from the pre-applied thermal paste on the AIO cold plate before mounting.

When will the 750W power supply likely need replacement under heavy gaming loads?

A quality 750W unit typically lasts five to seven years; replace it if you notice random shutdowns, coil whine, or voltage drift under sustained 6900 XT load.
