Ryzen 7 3700X Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum system pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card holding 16GB of GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 system memory, a 512GB NVMe SSD and a 2TB hard drive. The build is finished in black with RGB lighting and a 120mm liquid CPU cooler, running Windows 10 Pro from a 750W power supply.

Upgrade From Older Multi-Core Rigs

The combination of a modern high-core-count CPU and a flagship GPU replaces systems that struggle with current titles at high settings. The jump is worth it when your existing desktop cannot deliver smooth frame rates at 1440p or 4K, or when compile times and multitasking lag behind an eight-core, sixteen-thread architecture. The fast NVMe boot drive and large mechanical secondary drive remove the storage bottleneck common in older platforms.

Sustained Load With Liquid Cooling

A 120mm all-in-one liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 3700X at stable clocks during extended gaming or rendering sessions, avoiding the thermal throttle typical of stock air coolers. The 750W unit supplies steady power to the 6900 XT and the rest of the platform without hitting its limits. Wi-Fi uses the 802.11n standard, so wired Ethernet is preferred for low-latency competitive play.

Questions about this item

Will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler fit in a standard ATX case?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is designed for standard ATX cases with a 120mm fan mount on the rear or top panel. Ensure your case has clearance for the radiator and tubing routing near the CPU socket.

How is the Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 graphics card installed, and what step is often missed?

The graphics card comes pre-installed in the primary PCIe x16 slot. The step often missed is connecting the required PCIe power cables from the 750W power supply to the card before first boot.

What maintenance does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need over time?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is a sealed unit requiring no coolant refills. Maintenance is limited to cleaning dust from the radiator fins and fan blades every 6–12 months using compressed air.
