This cable adapts a single 12V Molex LP4 connector from a power supply into four 3-pin or 4-pin fan headers. It is built for builders who need to run multiple case or cooler fans from one PSU lead. The black sleeved jacket uses standard UL 1007 22AWG copper wire and measures 10 inches in length.

Sustained load behaviour

Only two pins on each fan header are energised so the fans receive constant 12V power without PWM or voltage-based speed control. Every connected fan will spin at full speed continuously regardless of motherboard headers or thermal curves. The copper core handles the combined current draw of up to four fans without the voltage drop seen on thinner extension leads.

Molex LP4 interface limits

The splitter draws all power directly from the PSU Molex rail so fan speed cannot be throttled by the motherboard or fan controller. Builders who need variable fan curves or RPM monitoring must use board-mounted headers instead. The 10 inch reach also restricts routing to components close to the PSU cable bundle.
