ASUS Vivobook 15 F512DA laptop

The ASUS Vivobook 15 F512DA is a 15.6 inch Windows 10 Home laptop built around a 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 7 3700U quad-core processor. It ships with 40GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB SATA SSD. Integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. A fingerprint reader and 720p webcam support secure sign-in and video calls.

Home office users needing memory headroom

The 40GB DDR4 configuration suits multitasking across browser tabs, office suites and light creative workloads. The SATA SSD offers capacity for large document libraries. Buyers who want more storage than 1TB or a discrete GPU for heavier rendering should look at something else. The 37 WHr battery and 45W adapter limit unplugged runtime for all-day mobile work.

40GB DDR4 SODIMM capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 40GB DDR4 SODIMM memory installed. This amount is fixed by the upgrade and cannot be changed without opening the chassis. Confirm your workflow fits within this ceiling before purchase. The system runs Windows 10 Home 64-bit on the 1TB SATA SSD.
