Everyday laptop for home and office

The ASUS Vivobook 15 F512DA runs on a Ryzen 7 3700U quad-core processor with Radeon RX Vega 10 integrated graphics. It ships with 40GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SATA SSD. The 15.6-inch Full HD panel shows 1920 by 1080 pixels. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed.

Connectivity and expansion

One USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port, one USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A port and two USB 2.0 ports handle peripherals. An HDMI output drives an external display. A micro SD card reader adds removable storage. Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 cover wireless links. The 720p webcam and fingerprint reader support video calls and secure login.

Thermals and power

A 45W power adapter charges the 2-cell 37 WHr battery. Integrated graphics keep heat and noise low during typical office work and media playback. The backlit keyboard remains usable in dim light. Questions about this item

How long can the 37 WHr battery sustain the Ryzen 7 3700U under full load before it runs flat?

The 2-cell 37 WHr pack supplies the 45 W adapter rating, so sustained heavy work will drain it in well under two hours; expect to stay plugged in for long sessions.

Does the 45 W power brick and 37 WHr battery combination run hot or loud when the Vega 10 graphics are pushed all day?

The 45 W supply matches the CPU's typical thermal envelope, so fan noise stays moderate and surface temperatures remain comfortable during extended mixed workloads.

Which DDR4 SODIMM modules are already installed to reach the 40 GB total?

The system ships with a 40 GB DDR4 SODIMM configuration; no additional memory is required for it to operate.
