ZKTeco zFace1701 Face Biometric Terminal

The ZKTeco zFace1701 is a face recognition terminal for employee attendance and door access control. It uses a visible light algorithm with a high-definition binocular camera for fast, accurate verification. A 7-inch touch screen provides the user interface and the unit carries IP65 protection for durable daily operation.

Suits sites needing contactless entry

Organisations that require up to 10000 enrolled users and 300000 stored events will find the capacity sufficient. The terminal supports IC card verification alongside facial recognition for flexible entry methods. Sites without network infrastructure or those requiring fingerprint verification should evaluate other options.

10000 user face capacity drives the decision

The facial database holds 10000 templates, which determines the maximum workforce size the device can serve without external management. Communication runs over TCP/IP and USB flash drive with optional WiFi for data transfer. Access control relays support door magnets, alarms and intercom linkage for complete entry management.

Questions about this item

How often will the 7-inch touch screen on the zFace1701 need recalibration or replacement?

The capacitive touch screen has no scheduled recalibration; it is designed for continuous daily use and only requires replacement if physically damaged.

What limit is reached first when the terminal runs non-stop with a full 10000 user database?

The 300000 record log fills before the user or card capacity, so log exports or automatic overwrites become the first maintenance task.

Does the IP65-rated zFace1701 generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day operation?

The sealed enclosure uses passive cooling with no moving parts, so it operates silently and remains at ambient temperature under continuous use.
