7-inch IP65 facial access terminal

The Audiovox Generic zFace1701 is a 7-inch touch-screen terminal that combines facial recognition with IC card verification for door access and time attendance. It stores up to 10000 face templates and 10000 card records while logging 300000 events. The unit communicates over TCP/IP and USB flash drive with optional WiFi and carries an IP65 rating for protected indoor or covered outdoor use.

Suited for single-door access and attendance

This terminal suits sites that need a single credential reader with visual intercom features such as one-touch calling, video intercom, call recording and remote door release. It is not for installations requiring fingerprint verification, multi-door controllers or larger user databases beyond the stated 10000 capacity.

Wall-mount installation with IP65 sealing

The device mounts on a wall and connects to power, lock, exit button and door sensor using the terminal block on the back. The IP65 seal requires careful cable-gland fitting; missed glands or loose conduit entries are the most common cause of water ingress. Configuration is performed on the touch screen or via the USB flash drive, and network settings must match the local TCP/IP scheme for the optional WiFi module to join the network.
