Audiovox - Generic zFace1701+ Face Biometric Time Clock 10000 Users

10 000-User Face Access Terminal

The Audiovox zFace1701+ is a new biometric time-and-attendance terminal that identifies employees by face or IC card. A 7-inch touch screen provides the local interface, while the onboard database stores up to 10 000 users and 10 000 card records. Up to 300 000 events are logged before the oldest entries are overwritten. Communication is handled through TCP/IP or a USB flash drive, with optional Wi-Fi available for wireless networks. The unit carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Suitable for mid-sized workplaces

Organisations that need a single device to handle both clocking-in and door control for up to ten thousand people will find the capacity adequate. Sites requiring fingerprint verification or larger user databases should consider alternative hardware. Environments without network infrastructure can still collect logs via the USB port, though real-time monitoring needs the Ethernet link.

IP65-rated enclosure

The IP65 protection rating means the terminal withstands dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, allowing installation in covered outdoor areas or dusty indoor zones. If the mounting location is exposed to heavy wash-down or submersion, a higher-rated enclosure would be required.
