It runs on an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 6MB cache and speeds up to 3.60 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit pre-installed.

Dual storage and connectivity

A 128GB M.2 drive pairs with a 1TB M.2 drive for 32GB DDR4 memory capacity and combined solid-state storage. Ports include USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and RJ-45. Wireless options cover Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE 4G and dedicated GPS, though WWAN may not be included. A Dell OEM charger is supplied.

Check power and dock needs

Battery choices include internal 6- and 9-cell packs with an optional hot-swap bridge battery for extended shifts; verify which pack your workflow requires. Questions about this item

How long will the internal battery last before it needs replacing under daily field use?

The system uses internal 6- and 9-cell battery packs designed for all-day shifts, with an optional hot-swap bridge battery available to extend runtime without shutting down.

What component hits its limit first when the i5-8350U runs at 3.60 GHz for hours?

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 integrated GPU shares thermal headroom with the CPU, so sustained graphics or compute loads will throttle before the 32 GB DDR4 memory or dual M.2 SSDs saturate.

How loud and hot does the 14.0 inch rugged chassis get during a full workday?

Ruggedised cooling is built for harsh environments; the fan stays audible but controlled while the magnesium-alloy frame dissipates heat across the sealed chassis during continuous operation.
