The DELL Latitude 5424 is a new 14.0-inch rugged notebook built for harsh environments. It features a 1920 x 1080 FHD touchscreen display that supports 10-point input and works with protective gloves. An 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 6MB cache and speeds up to 3.60 GHz powers the system. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output.

Field Workers Needing Durability

This laptop suits professionals who require a military-grade chassis tested for extreme conditions and a sunlight-readable screen for outdoor use. It includes dual M.2 SSD storage totalling 128GB and 1TB alongside 32GB DDR4 memory for responsive multitasking. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for heavy rendering or gaming should look at other systems. The integrated graphics and rugged design prioritise reliability over high-end 3D performance.

128GB + 1TB Dual M.2 SSD Storage

The defining specification is the dual solid-state drive configuration providing a 128GB boot drive and a 1TB secondary drive. Both drives use the M.2 form factor and operate without moving parts for shock resistance. This layout gives immediate capacity for the operating system and large project files in a rugged platform. Verify that the M.2 interface matches your imaging or deployment requirements before purchase.
