Latitude 5424 Rugged 14

The Dell Latitude 5424 is a fully rugged 14-inch laptop built to military-grade durability standards for harsh environments. It ships new with Windows 10 Pro and features a non-touch FHD display rated for outdoor visibility. An 8th-generation quad-core Intel Core i5-8350U processor with 6MB cache and 8GB of DDR4 memory handles field workloads.

Field workers needing drop and weather resistance

This unit suits technicians, surveyors and mobile professionals who require a device tested for shock, vibration and extreme temperatures. Buyers who need a touchscreen for gloved operation or integrated 4G LTE and dedicated GPS should verify configuration, as those options may not be included. It is not for users seeking ultra-light portability or discrete graphics performance.

Dual M.2 SSD storage configuration

The laptop provides 512GB and 2TB M.2 solid-state drives for a large total flash capacity with no moving parts. This layout supports fast boot times, quick application loads and ample space for local datasets in rugged conditions. Both drives use the M.2 form factor for internal expansion.
