Built for harsh environments

The DELL Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0 inch laptop designed to survive tough conditions. It suits field workers and mobile professionals who need a device tested against military-grade standards. The chassis uses specialised materials and rigorous component qualification to handle vibration, dust and temperature extremes. A 10-point touchscreen works even with protective gloves on.

Upgrade from fragile consumer laptops

This model replaces standard notebooks that fail when exposed to direct sunlight, rain or drops. The jump is worth it when your work takes you outdoors or onto job sites where a regular screen becomes unreadable. Dual M.2 solid-state drives totalling 256 GB plus 1 TB give fast boot and ample local storage for large project files. 32 GB DDR4 memory keeps multiple business applications responsive.

Check your peripheral and power needs

Verify that your essential accessories connect via the available USB 3.0, USB Type C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial and RJ-45 ports. Confirm that the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 meets the visual demands of your specific software. Ensure the Windows 11 Pro 64-bit environment supports your required applications and security policies. Wireless options include Wi-Fi and optional LTE 4G with dedicated GPS.
