Rugged 14-inch laptop for field work

The DELL Latitude 5424 is a 14.0-inch FHD non-touch notebook built to military-grade rugged standards. It suits professionals who need a durable computer that survives harsh environments, vibration and temperature extremes. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday business applications and outdoor-readable display tasks. Buyers who want a thin ultrabook or dedicated gaming graphics should look elsewhere.

Integrated graphics and fixed 32 GB DDR4 limit

The Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor reaches 4.20 GHz with 8 MB L2 cache, paired with 32 GB DDR4 memory that cannot be upgraded. Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory and suits office productivity, video playback and basic GIS viewing. It will not accelerate 3D rendering, CAD modelling or modern game engines. The 512 GB SSD provides fast boot and load times for the OS and project files.

Sealed chassis with legacy and modern ports

The ruggedised black chassis resists dust, moisture and shock, allowing permanent mounting in vehicles or field stations. Connectivity includes USB 3.0, USB Type C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and RJ-45 for industrial equipment. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit runs on the 512 GB SSD. The non-touch 1920 x 1080 screen works in direct sunlight and with gloves. An OEM charger is included.
