Rugged 14 FHD touchscreen laptop

The DELL Latitude 5424 is a 14.0 inch rugged notebook built for harsh environments. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD. The display offers 1920 x 1080 resolution with 10-point touch input that works with gloves. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output.

Field workers needing glove touch

This unit suits mobile professionals who require a durable chassis tested to military-grade standards and a screen visible in direct sunlight. The glove-capable touchscreen and optional WWAN connectivity support outdoor and industrial workflows. It is not for buyers who need a dedicated graphics processor for 3D rendering or video editing. It is also not for users who require a lightweight ultraportable for frequent airline travel.

14 inch FHD 10-point touchscreen with glove support

The defining specification is the 14.0 inch Full HD display that accepts 10-point touch input while the operator wears protective gloves. This feature decides whether the laptop fits the workflow; if glove operation or direct-sunlight visibility are not required, a standard business notebook will serve the same compute needs.
