Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 is a new 14.0-inch rugged notebook designed to withstand tough conditions while delivering reliable performance. Its toughened direct-view display offers high brightness for readability in direct sunlight. The system runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 8MB cache and speeds up to 4.20 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output on the non-touch FHD panel.

Field workers needing durability.

This laptop suits professionals who require a durable, non-touch device for outdoor or industrial use where standard hardware would fail. The rugged chassis, direct-view screen, and optional connectivity features support all-day productivity away from a desk. Buyers who want a touchscreen interface should consider the alternative 10-point touch configuration. Users needing discrete graphics performance for rendering or gaming will find the integrated graphics insufficient for those workloads.

256 GB SSD and 16 GB DDR4 define storage

The single specification that decides fit is the 256 GB solid-state drive paired with 16 GB of DDR4 memory. This combination determines whether the system can hold the required applications and data sets while keeping the operating environment responsive. No other storage or memory configurations are described in the available facts.
