Latitude 5590 Business Ultrabook

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 15.6 inch business ultrabook powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a 256 GB SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 1920 x 1080 IPS non-touch display. This configuration suits professionals who need reliable multi-tasking performance in a durable chassis.

User-Replaceable Memory and Storage

The SO-DIMM slots and M.2 bay are accessible after removing the base cover, allowing straightforward RAM and SSD upgrades. Common difficulties include hidden screws beneath rubber feet and fragile display-cable routing near the hinge. The single 256 GB drive leaves no room for a second internal drive without removing the existing one.

Intel UHD 620 Integrated Graphics Limits

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory and is designed for office productivity, video playback and light photo editing. It cannot sustain playable frame rates in modern 3D titles or accelerate heavy GPU compute workloads. External display output is limited to the HDMI port and the USB-C DisplayPort alternate mode.
