Rugged 14 FHD touch laptop

The DELL Latitude 5424 is a new 14.0-inch rugged notebook built to military-grade durability standards for harsh environments. It suits field workers and mobile professionals who need a device that withstands dust, vibration and temperature extremes while running Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor.

Sustained load on integrated graphics

Under continuous workloads the Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares 16 GB of DDR4 system memory and thermal headroom with the CPU, so extended rendering or multi-monitor output will throttle clock speeds below the 4.20 GHz maximum turbo. The integrated design means sustained GPU compute is limited by the same cooling envelope that governs the processor.

256 GB SSD storage ceiling

The single 256 GB solid-state drive sets a hard capacity limit for local data, operating system and applications without a second drive bay mentioned in the specifications. Users generating large media files or maintaining offline databases will reach the practical ceiling quickly and must rely on external storage or cloud sync to expand usable space.
