Built for harsh environments

The DELL Latitude 5424 Rugged is a 14.0-inch notebook constructed with specialised materials and a chassis tested to military-grade standards. It is designed for field workers, engineers and first responders who need a device that survives vibration, dust and extreme temperatures. The 10-point touchscreen works with protective gloves on.

Connectivity for mobile workflows

Ports include USB 3.0, USB Type C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and RJ-45 Ethernet, letting you attach legacy industrial gear and modern monitors without adapters. Wireless options cover Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and dedicated GPS so the machine stays online on job sites. Hot-swappable battery packs support continuous operation across full shifts.

Upgrade from standard business laptops

This unit replaces conventional ultrabooks that fail when exposed to rain, drops or direct sunlight. The 32 GB DDR4 memory and 256 GB SSD handle multi-tasking and local data capture in the field. The jump is worth it when downtime from a broken screen or water ingress costs more than the rugged premium.
