Built for harsh environments

The Dell Latitude 5424 is a rugged 14.0-inch laptop designed to withstand tough conditions while delivering reliable performance. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 16 GB DDR4 memory. Storage combines a 512 GB M.2 drive with a 2 TB M.2 drive. The non-touch FHD display resolves at 1920 x 1080.

Suits mobile professionals needing durability

This machine targets field engineers, first responders and outdoor workers who require a chassis tested to military-grade standards and a screen viewable in direct sunlight. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles general business apps but cannot drive modern 3D workloads or high-end creative suites. Buyers who need discrete GPU power or a touchscreen should evaluate other options.

Verify connectivity and power requirements

Confirm your peripherals match the available USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial port and RJ-45 jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; WWAN or GPS modules may not be installed. The system ships with a Dell OEM charger and supports optional hot-swap bridge batteries for extended shifts.
