Latitude 5590 14.0" FHD Business Ultrabook

The Dell Latitude 5590 is a 14.0 inch Full HD laptop built for professionals who need reliable performance on Windows 11 Pro. It runs on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory. Storage combines a 512 GB M.2 drive with a 2 TB secondary SSD for ample local capacity. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks.

Connectivity Limits of USB 3.1 Gen1 and Type-C

Three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports provide 5 Gbps bandwidth, with one supporting PowerShare for charging devices while the laptop sleeps. The single USB Type-C port carries DisplayPort video but Thunderbolt support is listed as optional and may not be present on this unit. HDMI and VGA outputs allow dual external displays. Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth handle wireless duties. An SD card slot and optional SIM tray round out the I/O.

Straightforward Deployment With One Storage Caveat

Windows 11 Pro arrives pre-installed so the system is ready to join a domain or Intune tenant immediately. Memory slots support up to 32 GB of DDR4 if the workload demands more than the fitted 8 GB. The dual-drive layout uses a primary M.2 slot and a secondary bay; installers must verify the physical height of the 2 TB drive to ensure the chassis closes correctly.
