Check your peripherals and dock

The laptop offers HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort over USB Type-C with optional Thunderbolt, three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, RJ45 Ethernet, an SD slot and an audio combo jack. Verify that your monitors, wired network and legacy devices match these connections before ordering.

Thermals, noise and power in daily use

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 keeps heat output modest during typical productivity workloads. The fan runs quietly under light load and ramps up only during sustained multi-core tasks. The 1.7 GHz base clock and 3.60 GHz boost balance performance with battery efficiency.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Dell Latitude 5590 and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro installed, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB SSD, 14.0" FHD IPS touchscreen, Intel UHD Graphics 620, Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth, HDMI, three USB 3.1 Gen1 ports (one PowerShare), one USB Type-C with DisplayPort, VGA, RJ45, SD slot, audio combo jack, and AC adapter. No external peripherals are included.

Which configuration should I choose between the 8 GB and 32 GB RAM options?

The 32 GB DDR4 RAM configuration is already maxed out and suited for heavy multitasking, virtual machines, and large datasets. The 8 GB option is lighter on budget but limits concurrent workloads. This unit is the 32 GB build.

What does the 1.7 GHz base clock with 3.60 GHz boost mean for everyday performance?

The quad-core i5-8350U runs at 1.7 GHz for light tasks to save power and can reach 3.60 GHz on up to four cores for bursts like spreadsheet recalculation, code compilation, or video conferencing encoding.
