Questions about this item

What type of RAM slots does the Latitude 5590 use for its 32 GB DDR4 memory?

The system ships with 32 GB of DDR4 already installed; the service manual shows two SODIMM slots, so any future upgrade must use DDR4 SODIMM modules.

Can I keep using my older VGA monitor with the HDMI and VGA ports on this unit?

Yes, the laptop provides both a full-size HDMI port and a legacy VGA connector, so an older VGA display can be connected directly without an adapter.

How can I verify the i7-8650U is hitting its 4.20 GHz turbo after setup?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab or run a CPU stress tool and watch the clock speed; sustained loads should show the processor reaching 4.20 GHz on active cores.
