Rugged 14 for field work

The Latitude 5424 is a 14.0-inch rugged laptop built to military-grade durability standards for harsh environments. It suits mobile professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration, dust and direct sunlight while running Windows 10 Pro on 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processing.

Dual 512GB and 1TB SSD headroom

The system ships with 8 GB DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout: 512 GB M.2 plus 1 TB M.2 solid-state storage. That combination handles large field datasets, offline maps and local applications comfortably, while the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 covers standard business visuals but not heavy 3D or compute workloads.

Connectivity and power for mobile builds

Ports include USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, serial and RJ-45, plus optional WWAN and dedicated GPS for untethered operation. Dual internal batteries with hot-swap bridge support enable full-shift runtime away from mains power, and the 10-point touchscreen works with protective gloves for outdoor use.
