Precision mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need certified graphics and a high-resolution touch display in a compact silver chassis. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and a Dell AC adapter.

UHD 3840 x 2160 touch panel

The 15.6-inch IPS panel delivers 3840 x 2160 resolution with multi-touch input and 72% color gamut coverage. A dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P2000 with 4 GB GDDR5 drives the display for professional 3D and video workloads.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.80 GHz turbo speed of the i9-8950HK translate to everyday workloads?

The six-core processor reaches 4.80 GHz under Turbo Boost, so single-threaded tasks such as code compilation or CAD regeneration finish quickly while the 12 MB cache keeps data close to the cores.

What does the Thunderbolt 3 port actually limit in real use?

Thunderbolt 3 provides four lanes of PCIe bandwidth, letting you drive two 4K displays or attach a high-speed NVME SSD without saturating the link.

Will the 15.6" UHD touchscreen fit in a standard 15-inch laptop sleeve?

The InfinityEdge panel reduces the bezel, so the chassis matches typical 15-inch dimensions and slides into most sleeves designed for that class.
