Precision 5530 mobile workstation

The Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around an 8th Gen Intel six-core i9-8950HK processor. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and dual storage comprising a 256 GB M.2 drive plus a 1 TB SSD. The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P2000 GPU provides 4 GB of GDDR5 video memory for professional graphics workloads. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

FHD IPS display and I/O limits

The 1920 x 1080 non-touch IPS panel covers 72 % colour gamut and uses an InfinityEdge design. Video output is handled by a single HDMI 2.0 port and one Thunderbolt 3 connection with four lanes of PCIe. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports provide standard peripheral bandwidth. No other display outputs or high-speed interfaces are present.

Silver chassis with dual-fan cooling

The platinum silver enclosure houses a dual-fan thermal solution designed to sustain performance under load. A combined headphone and microphone jack handles audio. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The supplied Dell AC adapter powers the system. Buyers who need a larger colour gamut or additional Thunderbolt ports will find this configuration does not meet those requirements.
