Precision 5530 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i9-8950HK six-core processor and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P2000 graphics card with 4GB GDDR5 memory. It runs Windows 11 Pro and combines 16GB DDR4 RAM with dual storage: a 128GB M.2 drive plus a 4TB SSD.

Suited for GPU-accelerated workflows

This configuration suits engineers and designers who need certified Quadro drivers for CAD, 3D modelling or video editing on the move. The 72% colour-gamut IPS panel supports colour-critical work. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a higher refresh-rate panel or more than 16GB of system memory should consider other models.

Straightforward deployment

The laptop arrives with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and a Dell AC adapter in the box, so it is ready to use after the initial OS setup. Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 2.0 ports handle external displays and peripherals without extra adapters. The main friction point is the soldered memory, which prevents any future RAM upgrade beyond the factory 16GB.
