Precision 5530 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6 inch UHD touchscreen mobile workstation built for professionals who need certified graphics and expandable storage in a premium silver chassis. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i9-8950HK six-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P2000 4 GB GDDR5 GPU. Dual storage combines a 1 TB M.2 drive with a 4 TB SSD for large project libraries.

Upgrade from integrated graphics

Moving from a system that relies on integrated graphics or a dual-core CPU to this six-core i9 with Quadro P2000 unlocks hardware-accelerated viewport performance for CAD, DCC and engineering applications. The jump is worth it when your workflow demands ISV-certified drivers, 4 GB dedicated video memory and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity for external GPUs or high-speed storage arrays.

32 GB RAM and 5 TB total storage headroom

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration handles multi-application workloads, large assemblies and high-resolution texture streaming without paging. Combined 5 TB capacity stores extensive asset libraries, simulation caches and raw footage locally. The Quadro P2000 4 GB frame buffer becomes the limiting factor for GPU-bound ray-tracing, complex shader compilation or multi-4K display setups that exceed its dedicated video memory.
