Questions about this item

What are the exact storage drive sizes and interface types inside this Precision 7730?

It contains a 128 GB M.2 SSD and a 4 TB M.2 SSD. The supplier lists them as NVMe but the platform only guarantees the M.2 form factor.

How is the 128 GB DDR4 memory installed, and what mistake do buyers make when upgrading?

The 128 GB DDR4 fills all four SODIMM slots. Buyers often purchase a 32 GB stick expecting to add it, but they must replace the existing modules instead.

Which components in this Precision 7730 are user-replaceable and which require service?

Both M.2 SSDs and all four DDR4 SODIMMs are accessible under the bottom cover. The NVIDIA Quadro P3200 GPU is soldered and not replaceable.
